Dr.Dinesh Sabnis was appointed as a Secretary General for Indian Delegation in 2021 for UN Peacekeepers Veteran Organization– The Soldiers of Peace International Association, also known as AISP-SPIA, this organization was established in 1988, according to French laws. This International NGO obtained in 1995 a general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. The goal of SPIA has been to extend on the humanitarian and diplomatic side the actions led by the Blue Helmets on the ground. SPIA main role also has been to help the former Blue Helmets (UN Mission Soldiers) to continue with their lives after their military service, to help them fight for their rights and contribute to keeping the memory of their actions alive. AISP SPIA also run “Young Peacemaker Program” for students to understand topics related to UN Charter & Peace.
SPIA is composed of more than 50,000 members in 18 countries:
Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Kenya, Mongolia, Norway, Poland, Russia, Senegal, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary, Indonesia & India.
Dr.Dinesh Sabnis being himself a visionary educationist, on appointment immediately initiated the process of Young Peace Maker program that was introduced by AISP-SPIA with vision to make young generation aware about topics such as United Nations Fundamentals, Diplomacy, International Relations & Peace. The intention of this program has been to pass message of peace and to develop sense of peace in the mind of the young generation who are future of country in its development. 
Dr.Sabnis was pioneer in initiating online programs in schools & colleges wherein Indian students connected with various delegations worldwide on topics related to UN Charters. He even channelized Indian students for the platform of United Nations wherein they could submit researched papers related to SDG Goals & Diplomacy.
In last two years Dr.Sabnis, also have initiated informative sessions to pass information and visions about AISP-SPIA in Indian society specially in fraternity of veterans of Indian Peacekeepers. In coming years AISP SPIA- Indian Delegation under leadership of Dr.Dinesh Sabnis looks forward to enrolling as many possible UN Peacekeepers as possible who could be able to avail services offered by HQ of Soldiers of Peace International Association at global platform level.
Dr.Sabnis, in past one year have already published more than 70 informative videos related to United Nations, Diplomacy & International Relations through is channel of You-Tube creating awareness in the mind of global community about importance of United Nations & Peace.
