His name is Allen Ellison, a rising star in American politics. In 2019, following Allen Ellison becoming the 2018 Democratic Nominee to the US House of Representatives, His Majesty, Jonathan Danladi Gyet Maude, King of Nok Kingdom, by Royal Decree, Crowned Allen Ellison as Prince, Son of the Soil.
Prince Allen understands the challenges, misinformation, and the one-sided narrative projected about Africa and its people to the rest of the world. He is on a mission to counter that narrative through educational forums, forging new diplomatic relationships around the globe, and bringing awareness of Africa’s historical significance and the excellence of its people to the world through exhibitions showcasing the richness of the culture and heritage of the region.
As the Crown Prince of Nok Kingdom, Allen’s duties encompass trade negotiations for exporting natural resources, economic development initiatives, and diplomatic relations between the Kingdom and international partners. He believes in achieving a brighter future for the Kingdom by fostering an environment to enhance economic opportunities for everyone and by creating meaningful job prospects throughout the region.
He is working to secure the future of Nok Kingdom with new ideas in order to overcome new and existing challenges. Nok Kingdom was birthed from the Ham People in 1500 BC. Ham people can be found in the Southern part of Kaduna State in the Northwestern region of Nigeria and some parts of Cameroon. They are also known as Jaba People who are related to ethnic groups such as Gwong, Anghan, Adara, Koro, Atyap, Jukun, Berom, and Tiv. In 1499 years, Nok Kingdom existed under three ruling families: the House of Tirona, the first ruling family of the Nok Kingdom, the House of Saghon, and the House of Maude, which is the current ruling family of the Nok Kingdom.
In 1500 BC, the Ham people of Nok Kingdom discovered iron and developed the first iron smelting technology which moved the global society from the stone age into the iron age. This led to the development of an internationally industrialized civilization making it possible to have modern-day engines, cars, trains, railways, planes, and skyscraper buildings.
The Nok Kingdom has adopted a comprehensive planning approach toward economic development and sustainability, since the start of its Rebirth Plan, which is its five-year redevelopment action plan. This is the framework for guiding the course of development towards coherent and integrated goals. The Kingdom’s development plan seeks to strike a balance between economic growth and the maintenance of rich history.
